On April 7-9, Eastwood Rotarians welcomed more than two dozen Rotary Exchange Students for a special weekend of fun and international awareness. Congratulations and thanks to Bud Floor for coordinating the weekend. Students and Rotarians enjoyed roller-skating and a pot luck dinner, but mostly just treasured the time spent together, getting to know each other.

Carlota Oleaga (Spain) and Mitsuru Fujino (Japan) ham it up on skates.
Ruben Luna, Julie Van Erum, Sarah Woodham, and Bettina Kretschmen (Venezuela, Belgium, Australia, and Germany) skating, or standing, or talking, or ...
Anne Madsen, Carlota Oleaga, Laura Nardelli, and Paola Salazar (Denmark, Spain, Argentina, and Ecuador) hand-in-hand for friendship or balance!
It's Bud-Man! Obviously, there are no wheels that Bud can't master!
Time for dinner! A hungry group of exchange students waiting for the OK to graze!
Jenny is all smiles with Alec Williams. Note the Harvard sweatshirt - nothing like lofty goals!
Ruben was a finalist in limbo, but not a winner - Tonie Astudillo from Chile took the title.
Who's the "Bud-Man" now? Kate Kalter assisting Bud Floor with beverage distribution.
President Gary's cultural experience, sampling maté (Argentine tea). Don't worry - it's legal!
DG Herb samples maté, but not for the first time.
Here's Linda Floor checking it out, under the watchful eyes of Ruben and Mitsuru.
Past President Rosalie wasn't going to be left out either.

A happy group of exchange students. What a fun weekend!
