EASTWOOD ROTARY GOLF CHALLENGE

A great experience for all including Oscar Vergara who caught the golf bug while helping the kids.
The FIRST ANNUAL EASTWOOD GOLF CHALLENGE
The Eastwood Rotary Club, and its non-profit charity, the Eastwood Rotary Foundation a (501c3) entity, have organized their 1st Annual Eastwood Golf Challenge for adults and disadvantaged youth who reside in the Eastwood area of Syracuse. The Golf Challenge will be held on Friday, August 19th at Towne Isle Golf Club in Kirkville.
The golf challenge is designed to introduce youngsters ages 10-15 to the game of golf who would otherwise be unable to learn about and play the sport due to hardships and challenges that face them and their families daily.
The purpose of the golf challenge is to utilize the game of golf to inspire and promote honesty, ethics, and teamwork that fosters mutual cooperation between the youth and adults through a mentoring relationship.
I would like to ask you to consider sponsoring a hole for our 1st Annual Eastwood Golf Challenge. The sponsorship package costs $500 and will pay for 2 youngsters to play 18 holes of golf.
In return for your generosity, your sponsorship package will include recognition on one of 18 holes, acknowledgment in all print material / media relations, and your corporate logo or ad will be advertised in our program book. In addition your corporate banner can be displayed at the golf club.
The "Teams" will consist of 2 adult mentors and 2 youngsters with prizes for all. Throughout the day door prizes will be awarded and a 50/50 raffle will drawn
Please help the Eastwood Rotary Club to make this a very "special event" for the youngsters of Eastwood. Together, we are brightening a child’s life while affording them the opportunity to learn golf through a mentoring opportunity that will last a lifetime.
Please make your checks payable to the Eastwood Rotary Foundation c/o the above address. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Karl Herba at 687-6247. I look forward to your sponsorship, and thank you for supporting the positive development of our youth
Sincerely,
Karl Herba, Chairman
